Maria Hernandez

Maria Hernandez has joined RDCollab as a Summer Fellow while pursuing her Master of Architecture degree at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. She graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Driven by a deep passion for delving into the interplay between architecture’s physical and metaphysical aspects, her studies at CUA have focused on Sacred Spaces and Cultural Studies. Through this program, she explores the spiritual essence of place-making, unearthing architecture’s profound impact on shaping human experiences and emotions.

Maria looks forward to returning to CUA in the Fall to finish her thesis, a theoretical study of the sublime essence of architecture.
