Bea Spolidoro is an Italian 2011 graduate from the University Politecnico of Milano, with a Masters of Architecture (MArch). She has been working with Rothschild Doyno Collaborative since 2012. She regularly volunteers for the AIA Pittsburgh chapter and with their Young Architect Forum (YAF) and various other committees. Since 2014, she has focused on the YAF presence both online and in the Pittsburgh architecture community. The goal has been to increase the general outreach capabilities of YAF. She is also involved in the YAF Pittsburgh ARE Review Sessions program, and in the organization of other YAF Pittsburgh events supporting the goals of Leadership, Mentorship, and Fellowship in young Intern Architects. For these efforts, in 2015 she was one of the 10 recipients of the Jason Pettigrew Memorial ARE National scholarship. In 2016, she served as a Juror for the 2017 AIA Institute Honor Awards.
Bea is a contributor the AIA Pittsburgh Columns eMagazine. She is looking forward to leaving a mark in the architecture community by sharing the knowledge she gained between the United States and Italy.
