Originally a California native, Michelle Nermon earned simultaneous B.A.s in Architecture and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008, where she was awarded the Judith Lee Stronach Scholarship for public service abroad in Costa Rica.
Her passions lie in exploring different perspectives of people, place, and community, and have led her to travel throughout South Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Western Europe, and the U.S. Inspirited by the diverse communities she has experienced, she supports locally scaled projects and initiatives that draw as much from their community and environment as they give back.
